EV Charger Projects for HOAs Receive 100% Funding

We are delighted to share that Wells Electrical has achieved a 100% success rate in securing funding for our customers with multi-unit residential properties through the Communities in Charge EV Wave 4 charger grant program.

Every application we submitted on behalf of eligible clients was approved — providing funds for electric vehicle charging infrastructure at their developments.

For housing associations, access to reliable and affordable EV charging is becoming increasingly important. As more residents transition to electric vehicles, providing suitable charging facilities supports sustainability goals, enhances resident satisfaction, and future-proofs housing stock for long-term demand.

Our team manages the entire process on your behalf, including:

  • Site assessments and feasibility reviews
  • Full grant application preparation and submission
  • Liaison with funding bodies
  • Installation, commissioning, and compliance certification

We understand the operational, budgetary, and reporting requirements housing associations face, and we work closely with asset managers and sustainability teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and with minimal disruption to residents.

Importantly, the Communities in Charge grant program appears to be a recurring funding opportunity. We are actively monitoring future funding rounds and will keep a close watch on application windows, ensuring we notify you as soon as new submissions are accepted so you can take full advantage of available support.

If you are a property manager or HOA member considering EV charger installation at your property, we would welcome the opportunity to discuss how funding opportunities for EV charger installation like the Communities in Charge grant program could support your project.
