San Francisco’s Sunset District has a new landmark in clean transportation—the Shell Recharge EV charging hub at 19th Avenue and Kirkham Street. Once a traditional gas station, this site has been transformed into a cutting-edge electric mobility hub designed to meet the growing demand for ultra-fast EV charging in the Bay Area.
A Flagship for the Bay Area’s EV Network
The new Shell Recharge station features 12 CCS (Combo Type 1) charging bays, including eight dual-port dispensers, capable of delivering up to 360 kW of total charging capacity. Drivers can now recharge quickly on one of San Francisco’s busiest north-south corridors, making EV ownership more practical for residents and commuters alike.
